“This Old historic building is tastefully furnished with beautiful antiques and located right on the waterfront promenade, next to Beaconhill Park. The location is unbeatable for people who like to walk or cycle. The rooms are large, full of old world ambiance, with comfortable beds and quality linens. “We spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel and really enjoyed our stay. It is a historical house with very fine Fine decoration. The owners are excellent chefs and they prepare wonderful breakfast for us every morning with big surprise. By the way, don't miss their fresh baked cookies and homemade sherry in the reading room every afternoon, I am sure you will love them !”

“We love the Latch for so many reasons! Location = quiet (heard owls early this morning). History = it’s a unique structure and story. Hospitality = by FAR the best breakfast you will ever have included in your stay. Eggs Benny or omelet, the freshest, sweetest fruit, high quality bacon. The STAFF, go above and beyond in every way. “Building is majestic, high decorated ceilings, hardwood floors and classic art. Room decor was nice, four poster bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was a highlight, served on bone china, the eggs Benedict were perfect.”
