"The property was super clean and the staff worked extremely hard to keep it that way. They even scrub the pool chairs. The room was pretty spacious compared to many resorts I’ve been to. Front desk staff were always very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and how to get around. The baggage concierge staff actively try to help you with directions and information on taxis etc. The entertainers in the evening shows are very talented. Bar staff were always friendly and attentive. Dining staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. Pools were always clean. The beach is scenic but I don’t think I’d swim in it too many boats. However just so happened to be able to baby sea turtles being released. This property is not close to shopping centers but you can take a bus there for less than a dollar. All in all wonderful time. First time at a Barceló resort and I’ll definitely stay at a Barcelo again. "

"Absolutely excellent services and staff. Beach views are amazing. Blaze was out favorite spot for dinner so as Italian. We liked the pool next to Tortuga bar . Rafael and Israel were the best at that area. Fast and excellent services ! Israel was supper attentive and friendly. I would recommend Hyatt Ziva to everyone if you want to experience amazing resort. Room was always clean and fresh ! :) we will be back !"

"This was a very nice Beach Resort! We had the all inclusive package - the food and drinks were great. It was in an amazing location in the Zona Romantica, in a very lively and walkable area. The hotel staff are friendly. Would highly recommend! We really enjoyed our stay. "
