“We arrived at this cozy lodge after a long day of driving and exploring and were welcomed by the property manager and found the spot to be perfect for our needs. Since we arrived in the dark, we awoke to the most stunning views. Rains had left the top Ben Nevis and surrounding mountains dusted with snow. It was breathtaking. We thought we’d be off and exploring all the hiking the area has to offer (and hiking is available right out the front door) but we ended up staying close and relaxing in……

“We got immediate access to the property which was spotless and as per the advert. We received a warm welcome to the property just after arrival. The rooms are a bit smaller than the pictures make out but maybe that was our imagination. Note the shower room is inside the main bedroom. The bunks are more for children of 14 years or below, our older teenagers struggled with their length. Even though the kitchen is small it had all you needed for breakfast & lunch. Only microwave for cooking hot……

“Lovely location, nice cosy space for our family of three. Good kitchen facilities and ideal for our mini adventure in Drumnadrochit. Decor is a wee bit tired in the bedrooms and bathroom but the kitchen is fantastic with the fridge, freezer and induction hob. I was extra prepared and had brought my own tea and coffee but the host had very kindly provided these as well as coffee pods and even had ice in the freezer for us - caramel wafers were very much appreciated! The location is beautiful,……

“Many thoughtful amenities. Sleeps an intimate two, not three as promised on both Expedia and another booking site. Host ignored Expedia message request for use of (non-existent) sofa bed and instead sent a direct email with door code. Daughter and I enjoyed this last minute booking but felt a bit bait and switched. Exceptionally clean,well appointed suburban backyard unit.”

“Alors le chalet est bien isolé et le calme est charmant, nous sommes à une très courte distance d’une magnifique forêt 🌳. Si vous aimez marcher ou courir c’est parfait. Le chalet était bien propre et on avait quelques produits de fourni ce qui est très pratique. Sachez toutefois la laveuse est très petite donc vous aurez plusieurs brasser à prévoir. Aussi, il n’y a pas de sécheuse, on doit étendre le linge pour le sécher. S’il fait beau c’est parfait mais dans le cas contraire prévoyez un plan……

“DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The phone number listed is out of service and there is NO WAY to contact anyone at this property, as it is managed by a third party. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. In the meantime, we had to drive 40 minutes out of Inverness to even find a hotel for the first night and……

“Lovely location , had a lovely gift hamper on arrival, nice little touches all around this bungalow. Bed was super comfy , everything you could possibly need was in the chalet. We were also lucky enough to meet Wanja and her two dogs Penny and Tuppence. However……… Unfortunately we would not stay there again due to how rude Stephen was to us….
