"Lovely, comfortable and clean room with a wonderful bed and blessings. We had a huge freestanding tub but used the shower stall which was a wonderful shower. Teapot and coffee cups was nice. The garden is a great spot to sit and relax and enjoy a beverage from their bar. No elevator but that’s expected in an older building. Great location for a nice stroll to the cathedral and many restaurants. Easy 10 min downhill walk from the train station so request a taxi the night before needed to return...

"Travelling for work I booked a single room for less than the local Travelodge. The grounds and main hotel are lovely and it was a delight to see the deer, ducks and other wildlife on the grounds. Nice stay nice pub nice staff although and I booked this B&B on the reviews I read (only the top 4 when viewing) if I had seen more reviews on the fact that they didn't do breakfast unless you book directly with them I would of chosen somewhere else. Also noted when leaving/checking-out the property you do so via the night entrance which the stairs down are very steep and you must be very careful if you have heavy or a large case with you. All that being said I did enjoy my stay."
