I really liked how well-kept and clean was the property. Service was impeccable. If you are looking for place to relax this is it. This is a family-oriented place. Not a party place. Staff is eager to please. My only issue with the place and is not a detriment, was the limited choices of food. I eat anything, but my GF who is a foodie kept complaining how limited the international menu is. However, the Mexican offerings were excellent. Special recognition to Grether, the GSM, and Abdel our server.

Upon arrival we were impressed with the property. Clean and orderly. The rooms spacious and clean. Walked out to the beach and not what we expected. We thought it would be beautiful crystal clear waters and not the case. Also rocky so to walk out it hurts your feet. The pool is beautiful but was surprised when we jumped in and it was warm. So don't expect to get refreshed. The weather is incredibly warm but the a/c in the hotel and rooms is great! Have to admit we were disappointed with the food. Breakfast was good. Lunch options by pool not so much. Dinner was just ok. We actually went out the rest of our stay which is unfortunate since we paid for all inclusive. The drinks were weak as well. I am a lightweight and had several margaritas and not even a buzz. If they run out of bubbly for mimosas they use wine so make sure to ask as it just doesn't taste right. But it was never an issue to get a cab to take you places. The staff was very attentive. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and just relax.

Belo is a great little boutique hotel, very calm, very quiet. I enjoyed the beach area, the bali beds, and TOP was both beautiful and amazing. I've read reviews about the water coming out of the showers... Pro Tip, just turn the water pressure down by adjusting the handle. Easy Fix. I've read reviews about how slow the service was at the pool. Yes. I will agree, but walking up to the bar to get what you needed wasn't a very hard task. They come around eventually! I enjoyed the food even, although the green juice in the morning from the 'woman' behind the bar was NO BUENO, but the green juice from the 'gentlemen' behind the bar in the mornings was phenomenal. (My apologies for not catching names). The hotel was kind enough to let us upgrade our room with no issues. The rooms are clean, comfy, and housekeeping does a great job each day keeping us tidy! Leave them tips! They are well deserved. Special thanks to Kassandra, Albert and ESPECIALLY HUGO, who I ALWAYS saw with a friendly smile and a cordial, warm welcome each day! Cons: I was sick the entire time, and my husband took a bicycle to the closest pharmacy. Cabs are $10/ trip now... So being so far away got really expensive, really quickly! In fact, the cost of EVERYTHING on the island has really skyrocketed... Bring more money than you thought you would need, and maybe bring an electric scooter with you in a checked bag or golf bag. It's cheaper than the golf carts, and will get you around when in a pinch.

This is a wonderfully private and quiet resort! There are bars and things to do close by but it felt like you were a world away from the business of North Beach. I liked the food was made fresh to order, no buffets of picked over food!

Lovely property!! Small, quiet and very clean. Many tourist options within walking distance. The resort is mid island. Recommend spending time at Playa North, a world class beach and at Punta Sur to experience the energy of the ocean. All food is served ala carte which makes for leisurely dining with smart portions. If you’re still hungry, order another item. Everything was good.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very quiet and enjoyable stay. Only real complaint was that the ocean was really not very accessible. It was difficult getting in to an area where you could enjoy the water. You have to go through obstacles of rocks and seaweed. Other than that the room and facilities were clean and accommodating.
