“The property overall, amenities and staff were great! We loved the location, the pools, the services and the shuttle rides. Our room itself was outdated, did not have the ocean view I paid for and we found someone's underwear behind the chair. I would return for the other items but speak up about the room as soon as I arrived so they had a chance to make things better.”

“When we get in I noticed that the coffee table was dirty. Also the bed cover had noticeable red-brown stains (I took pictures) and the sofa bed’s brown blanket was dirty. We had to complain with the office to get new bed covers. All they just did was send us new bedcovers to our room. We were told we would have to change the bed covers. Not good.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Willow Bay. Check in was a breeze and the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the furniture appeared to be brand new. The view of the Ocean was perfect for hanging out and enjoying a drink. Willow Bay has a great location right on the beach with lots of restaurant options near by. The pool and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We love coming to Myrtle Beach and we will definitely be coming back to Willow Bay. ”

“Good location for what we needed, staff although very nice, lacked the manpower needed to keep the hotel clean. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and based on that experience decided to come back. This stay was definitely not the same, we will stay at a different hotel the next time we travel to the area.”

“The staff was very nice and check in was easy. The room had a jacuzzi (one of the reasons I booked here) but it did not work. It was being used as a regular bathtub with a shower. The room was big and was clean on the surface- but the cabinets in the kitchen and bath areas were worn and dirty. The bath cabinets looked like they had been water damaged and were pretty sad. Overall- it just needed a thorough scrub down of the cabinets, walls, and furniture. The furniture was old and very worn and……

“The room was clean and very nice with a large refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave. There were utensils and plates, cups, etc. Even though it is listed as a beach view, it is not directly on the beach. Having a balcony is nice, but if you want to really see the ocean, you need to get on the top floor. However, beach access is an easy walk across the street and a small parking lot. Worth it for the lovely room and price. Also, there is no elevator, so be prepared for steps on floors two……
