“Amazing place.”

“The Perch was beautifully decorated, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. It was the perfect place for our family, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend time together. There was a wonderful variety of entertainment and gathering areas that kept every age group happy. The incredible view was another highlight of our stay. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, quickly answering any questions we had. Our trip included an unexpected event that none of us...

“Host was excellent and provided clear instructions throughout our stay. Home was beautiful and clean and well stocked with kitchenware. ”

“I have only one strong complaint, this cabin is not for anyone riding a motorcycle, unless you're on an Enduro bike or an adventure bike and want to do a bit of off-road riding. There is a one lane gravel road leading up to the cabin. The gravel road is steep with a substantial curve (not good) and its one lane, so if a car or pick-up are coming head on and don't grant you the right of way you have no alternative but to go into a ditch. The ground is uneven at the cabin parking area, its a big...

“We had a fantastic time, As a family of 6 , everyone enjoyed their time. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy everything the property offered, from grilling and eating outside to some family fun competition on the pickleball court. Loved having our morning coffee on the screened in back deck. So peaceful. My 17 year old son enjoyed the putt putt green . We enjoyed seeing a mamma deer and baby in the morning along with a family of baby turkeys. We enjoyed sightseeing and hiking the...

“We absolutely loved this property.”

“House was very nice just what we needed!! Hot tub was very nice after a long day hiking. Only thing was there was no sheets for the bedding. It is listed in listing but didn't realize it until we got there. Just want to make sure you are prepared for that.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay in McGaheysville and appreciated the excellent communication with the property manager. They were responsive, and easy to work with. The location within the Massanutten Resort area was great and very convenient to James Madison University. The kitchen was well equipped, and the dining area was spacious and perfect for gathering as a group. That said, the property itself appears to need some attention and general maintenance. The house overall seemed somewhat...

“This house was amazing! Newly renovated. All the amenities. The kids LOVED the game room. Spacious, clean. And the host was so nice and helpful.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The only issues were a few ants on the kitchen counter and the kitchen did not have enough silverware for 8 people (6 adults and 2 children).”

“We had a wonderful time at this property! We enjoyed the hot tub, and we were very comfortable staying in the rooms. We enjoyed time on the deck, and the children had fun on the swings. The dining table was perfect for our family! During our stay, we went to the waterpark, visited JMU, went for a hike, and did a trail ride. We also enjoyed a little time at a winery and went to dinner at a local brewery. We had a lovely stay, and we had everything that we needed! ”
