Meraux Castle Hotels

I stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend 2023 as this was the cheapest option I could find. I did not feel I sacrafied anything tho. The Algeris Ferry is about 20 minutes away with free parking around the streets so if anything I saved a lot by staying here and on this side of the river. This hotel is located on a busy route so it can be noisy with the traffic, trucks, and trains. Riverside Hotel was clean and quiet. I slept well every night. Every time I walked by the front desk, I was happily...

Frist off the people working their were very helpful and friendly the was very clean. The breakfast was good the two women working the area keep it clean and full of food. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable, the bathroom was separated from the bedroom area it also had a small sofa pull out bed. Free wifi nice tv nice desk and chair. The cost of staying thier and not in the French Quarter was a big saving. Their was a Wal -Mart 1/2 mile away to get snacks and drinks the room had...

Bre is EXCELLENT! Wonderful asset for the hotel! She was friendly and upbeat from the beginning of her shift to the end. She should give a class on customer service!

Very clean hotel close to the Riverwalk, French Quarter and Cruise terminal. They offer a free cruise shuttle that was very easy to use. Breakfast was average but was just enough. We will definitely consider them if we return to New Orleans.

All perfect

Went with friends who stayed there before. Lovely, comfortable, safe. Beds super comfy. Had everything we needed including a courtyard with tables for guest to sit outside and pool. Coffee n tea. Small bar. Great 24 hr front desk and safe n mini fridge in room. Safe valet parking onsite. Had everything we needed plus great location.

Our stay at the Olivier House Hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The curator who decorated this beautifully preserved historic building clearly has an exceptional eye for detail—there are so many charming and unique pieces throughout the property that make it feel special and full of character. The courtyards were peaceful and relaxing, with the gentle sound of fountains creating a calming atmosphere. After long days...

The staff at the front desk are amazing! The room was beautiful and such a fantastic value.

I stayed there because it was close to my friend's home. I normally stay inside the quarter. The area is as safe as any other area around the quarter. I was cautious but never felt uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

This property was amazing! Staff was great, very clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast, dinner and drinks! I would definitely recommend staying here ...and Iwould stay here again

We stayed here during the Taylor Swift weekend. The rooms were clean and very spacious. THe hotel had decorated the lobby with a couple TSwift photo ops. It was a great weekend.

This was my first time in NOLA and this hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredible and everyone was so friendly. Perfect location to hit Bourbon St!! Thank you guys for the warm hospitality. Southwest changed our flight and we got into NOLA at 8:15 in the morning. When we got to the hotel we expected to leave our bags and head out, but our room was ready!! I will definitely stay here the next time I visit.

Great hotel. Extremely friendly staff. Very convenient for cruise port.

They just reopened Dec 30th. Everything has been redone. No complaints. The staff was so friendly m. It was safe! They always had someone to buzz you in. Although this is not a complaint but if you have trouble going up stairs request a lower level room. We loved our room but after a long day of being out in New Orleans. The stairs were a killer. There is no elevators! Also the parking is first come first serve. It is a small lot. Luckily my husband and I got there early enough to get a parking...

Such a lovely and charming place. Excellent location right at the end of Frenchman; a very short walk from Three Muses, Spotted Cat and also French Market and Jackson Square. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and just delightful. My wife and I just love NOLA history and this had the "if these walls could talk" vibe. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

Nice large hotel room. Easy walk to the river and bourbon street. Beignets at cafe du Monde were delicious. Crab cakes at olde Nola cookery were delicious. About a mile from the cruise port. We couldn’t walk because it was raining.

Even though the weather was poor, we still enjoyed our stay. The great location made it so easy to still go places in bad weather.

My room was amazing and I'll be seeing y'all very soon I will book with y'all again
