“It was a good price and mostly clean, though my first room had a funky mildew smell and a dead cockroach in it. But the downtown Oceanside area is notorious for roaches. The woman running the front desk was pleasant and changed my room for me because of the smell. Great location. In good shape (maintenance wise, paint, furniture condition, etc.). Bed was comfortable. I didn’t try the breakfast. Overall I’d stay here again. ”

“I’m active duty military and was traveling with my pregnant wife, daughter, two dogs, and a 20-ft U-Haul while moving for orders. Before booking, I specifically called and asked if they had parking that could accommodate the truck. They said yes, which is the only reason I made the reservation, no need to cancel ahead of reservation right? When I arrived, there was barely enough parking for normal cars, let alone a moving truck. When I explained the situation, the staff told me to park my……

“Great location in Oceanside! Within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. Room was nice and clean, with good AC. Owner was very nice. Will definitely stay again! The only thing I missed was a coffee maker in the room.”

“I can't say enough good things about this property. It was such a pleasant surprise. It was very clean, I felt very safe, the staff was extremely helpful, the breakfast that they serve was great, the location where you can walk to everything was ideal and to top it off March was very warm and we able to enjoy sunbathing. “This hotel is located right next to the beach and many other great restaurants in town. However, the facilities are dated: the bed will move, not enough tables in the room, dishes are not thoroughly cleaned and really really thin wall. You have to walk down to the lobby if you wish to borrow a hair dryer. Although my reservation clearly indicated that "breakfast included", all they had was some fruits and cookies. The lady at the reception desk in the morning was really unfriendly, she did not……
