“The staff were super helpful and professional. The room was very spacious. However, the property is seriously no frills — a bunch of lockers for luggage storage, vending machines that didn’t work, no convenience store or coffee nearby. Unadorned cement floors in the room. Kind of dusty. People use the hotel to throw parties — it was extremely noisy overnight. Not a good place to go with kids or if you’re looking for peace and quiet, esp on a weekend. ”

“Poorly trained staff who fail to provide duty of care and provide accommodations to loyal elite members. Issue originated through expedia; however, staff failed to provide a reasonable late-night resolution. Level of member support fell short of Marriott’s standard of service, and staff on site represented Marriott poorly. Tone was condescending and unhelpful. I had to physically relocate to another Marriott property at 3 am, which created more than an inconvenience, it created stress and……

“Great location! We loved the neighborhood, the street, access to all kinds of wonderful restaurants, stores and transportation. The building was definitely a 200 year old building (lots of stairs), as it should be in that neighborhood. More attention could be paid to some of the minor items (sinks, kitchen appliances, bedside lamps, etc.). Nothing that a serious walk thru wouldn't take care of. But exceptional for the price and location. The management was responsive to issues as I made them……

“The staff really sucks, I could check in at 4pm, I came in at 9pm and they told me the room wasn't ready just the twin beds and they didn't know when it would be ready. I said it's not my problem, you need to fix it, and the front desk said it's not her problem, and the service at this hotel is really bad.”
