“Great stay”

“Our original reservation was cancelled last minute by the host, so I found this property as a backup. It was conveniently located close to Shenandoah National Park, which was our primary reason for visiting the area. The house was clean, and comfortable. The screen porch was just lovely for sitting out at night. We checked out the river but didn't swim. There is a nice place to make a fire. Overall, it was a really nice stay. My only issue was just a communication snafu. We hadn't……

“The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs……

The host made it special by providing clean ice, a couple of bowls of candy and donuts for our group. The bedrooms were all very nice. The living area was comfortable and super clean. “Seven Springs was awesome! We stayed for a long weekend over Memorial Day to celebrate a birthday. The house is remote but easily accessible and close to main roads leading to Elkton, Stanardsville, Charlottesville, and nearby wineries. It backs up to Shenandoah and is really close to main park entrances and Skyline Drive. The house was nicely redone, and thoughtfully stocked and designed to be a great rental. “This was a beautiful stay at a great location. The cabin is cozy and would be perfect for a weekend getaway or a week vacation. Plenty to do nearby with various parks and caves. Far enough in the country side to be peaceful and close enough to still grab a nice dinner in town. It was very relaxing to listen to the sounds of the river in the evening.
