“I stayed here with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) and we enjoyed this lovely property. We did not eat at the on site restaurants. Our room was very tidy and the staff was very helpful in orienting us to the city and assisting with transportation needs. Our windows closed securely but the very old door did not have a weather tight seal. Despite that, the room AC worked fine and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. We especially loved the location, being able to walk to so many wonderful……

“The property is in a great location for exploring Rome on foot. Communication with the owners was good, but the property is run-down and in need of renovation. The lighting in the bedroom is very poor, and there are none of the cushions, throws, etc. shown in the photos used to advertise the property. The shower is in particularly poor condition; the head does not stay in place, and the runners are dirty. Also, the plug in the sink does not work. Overall, the property was very disappointing……

“Wonderfully repurposed facilities with rich history in a bustling area right across Pantheon on Piazza Della Rotonda. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There’s plenty of space to put your clothes and luggage. Bathroom is comfortable and very clean. There’s a flight of stairs that you have to carry your luggage to the lobby. there’s an elevator from that floor to all the above floors. Staff was very friendly and they have a porter that will carry your luggage upstairs to the lobby. I would……

“We paid well over $300 for this hotel. We would not choose this hotel again. There are much better options. Unless you like Checkov novels. Noise from the street, very spare furnishings, no amenities, and not well appointed at all. Sorry good people can’t blame them for who they are but do look elsewhere in the area. ”

“Clean and spacious room, great location walking distance to plenty of restaurants and relatively close to the Pantheon. ”

“Unfortunately had 2 issues which meant not awarding 5 stars. Had no hot water on one day for shower or shaving which didn’t help as I was there on business. Ordered a taxi for a 5am pick up to the airport which was extremely important and having been promised by the hotel that the taxi would be there on time, I waited until 5:15 having tried to speak to the hotel and their taxi company and had to make other very hasty arrangements which involved walking with my luggage to find a taxi.”
