“We are badly conflicted about this hotel. It is truly a 5 star luxury hotel with incredible finishes and service. The restaurant is also terrific as are the staff. So what is our problem? Samuel McClure must be rolling over in his grave at the mis matched furniture and decorations , the multitude of odd garden statues placed aimlessly everywhere , and the requirement that you must go outside and get wet after dinner to get back to your room. “We were able to watch sea planes and the ferry come and go to the inner harbor right from our room. The pastry and coffees at Café Duo were amazing, as was the food at Aura Restaurant. We also appreciated the Nespresso coffee station inside our room, which they refilled for us daily. The kids were able to complete a treasure hunt and got gifts at the end.”
