Waldwick Residences

We have been to New York City many many times over the years. This hotel was our very favorite overall. We stayed at fancier ones. We’ve stayed at National chains. The personal care and attention you get from everyone at Hotel Scherman has been unsurpassed. While my husband would have preferred bacon and eggs biscuits and gravy for breakfast, the kids and I were very happy with the complementary continental breakfast. The walk ability to Broadway shows and Times Square was wonderful. We never...

Excellent staff, very polite, accommodating and welcoming. Its minutes walk away from Times Square. Everything is near by. I love staying here. Always my go to hotel. Thanks

Amazing

Clean and great staff

Great location and facility

Great location would stay there again.

Nice bakery for breakfast.

This was an amazing place to stay. EVERYONE is friendly. The room is clean. The bed is huge and comfortable. The air gets so cold. The rooftop bar has BEAUTIFUL views of the city. The location is perfect. You're so close to EVERYTHING! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. The atmosphere is so chill. It's a nice, quiet stay compared to the hustle and bustle of the city. I love the atmosphere. Would definitely stay again. Also. The rooms are SO quiet. We were right next to the elevator,...

I was on the sixth floor and the room was extremely quiet, unusual for New York, rather spacious and yet on this particular night, relatively inexpensive for such a perfect location in New York. Don’t miss the Red Farm restaurant around the corner… worth trying even if a bit noisy. My main criticism of the hotel is actually the coffee bar and pastries for breakfast, which are too sweet and caloric for me, and limited to drip coffee if you want to use their free breakfast card. I way prefer...

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were checked in quickly. The rooms, though small, are smartly designed. Bulky luggage can be stowed on the roll-out shelf under the bed, and the bedside table has a slide-out shelf to accommodate your laptop. Even though you're in midtown, the hotel's updated windows help block annoying street noise. The funky design elements are amusing, and the overall cleanliness of this hotel is the cherry on top.

Travel to NY often. The Arlo always is a great stay. Clean, smells amazing, good vibes, friendly/stylish staff, great decor, reasonably priced. Just do it. Stay here. Perfect for solo travel.

I stay here every time I am in NYC and I really enjoy my experience. Staff members are welcoming, the property is great. They offer lots of things that other hotels do not offer: from free breakfast, to evening wine. They are extremely attentive. The room are comfortable and nicely furnished. It is also very quiet while being in the heart of mid-town.

I would stay here again

This hotel is fantastic. The breakfast, staff, and rooms are really nice.

The staff took great care of us. They stored our luggage and were very generous with getting in and out of our luggage when we needed. They helped us find a good restaurant to eat. We were only in the city for overnight. The staff is genuine. The room was very small but nice. It is also New York City so a small room is ok. The room was clean.

The staff were very kind and helpful!

The only problem I had was the staff complained when I brought Dunkin Donuts coffee from across the street into the lobby. I’m sorry but when I’m spending $4,000 for a trip I feel like I can get my coffee from anywhere I please They kept saying no outside food or drink

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Romer's. We came in on the subway from JFK, and it was about 1 block walk from the subway station. We came to eat food and see the museums, and Hell's Kitchen is ground zero for foodies! We found great places to eat within a 15 minute walking distance. Two things we didn't prepare for. We came to NYC with practically no cash, as we had just come from a recent trip to Europe, where everything is cashless. Tips are still paid in cash in NYC in many...

Absolutely love this hotel! Staff is very friendly. Will absolutely be staying here again!
