"We booked this hotel for one night through Hotels.com, but were never informed that late check-in was unavailable after 11:30 pm. Our flight was delayed, and made it to the hotel at 3am. Upon reaching the hotel we found all doors closed and no one at the front desk. Despite repeatedly calling and waiting outside in the cold for over 30 minutes, no staff member appeared. Eventually, someone (not a receptionist) came out and, after some confusion and wandering around, managed to locate the keys so we could access our room. That said, once inside, the room itself was excellent and the facilities are beautiful. It’s just unfortunate that no one contacted us in advance about the late check-in policy, which would have saved a lot of stress on arrival."
