"Beautiful grounds and was small enough that you wouldn’t get lost. Was quiet, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet had a variety and plenty of places to sit. The pool area was clean and towels provided. The room itself was very comfortable and the temp could be adjusted easily. The hotel is very convenient to all the restaurants, shopping and sightseeing and the mountain Vista in the distance, just add to the serene surroundings, along with a lovely lily, pond and benches around it to sit and have a calm moment and watch the ducks. They also had a Little kiosk you could buy toiletries and other items you may need as well as snacks and beverages, and all day coffee is provided there too. "

"The location of La Playa Inn is perfect and in very close proximity to both beach, Stearn wharf and the main shopping area. Staff was lovely and very helpful, breakfast was included. My only slight criticism would be that the beds were narrower than we had in other hotels and mattresses quite soft. However, everything felt fresh, clean, new and we had a great time. "

Good walking neighborhood if you like walking. Gas station right across the street. Easy drive (or long walk) to Mission Santa Barbara and shopping area on State St. Best of all, very clean and quiet room. "
