“I loved the property it was both classy and had ritz. Surprisingly the hotel was built in 2002 but presents as a hotel built in the early 1900’s. The staff was excellent and courteous. There was a library in which to sit and relax or have a bourbon. Would highly recommend and will return.”

“Since this was an extended stay hotel, there was a kitchenette but no dishes, paper towels, Kleenex, cleaning services, etc. it was very strange.”

“I picked this hotel specifically wanting to use the pool it said nothing about it being closed for maintenance when I booked my reservation. This should have been flagged somehow that was the main reason I chose this hotel and the pool was closed. I was very disappointed.”

“The entire property seems to be under construction and the rooms are under-cleaned. They did not have the room available that I booked, but offered me another—no problem. But in that room the AC was not working and it had a terrible moldy smell. The third room offered was not great either, but good enough to stay for the night. I will say the staff was considerate and helpful. A bright spot in what was otherwise a dismal stay.”

“CALl IT WHAT IT IS If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. I am not sure why they chose to include “resort” in naming this place. It is very clearly a nice rustic campground with four hostel……

“Desk clerk very helpful. Bed was not comfortable and seemed lumpy. Staying there was acceptable.”

“Breakfast was pretty generic. No direction on how to use the TV remotes. Staff was courteous.”

“They got rid of our room we couldn't even check in and staff was supper rude cussed at me and all and his bed was in the office you go to check in.”

“Tried to charge me 11$ more than the price I was given online when I made the reservation. I showed him the confirmation email and he then refused to rent me a room all together over me wanting him to honor the price I had already confirmed online. Did so by using various hand signs because his English was less than understandable. Terrible experience and the place appeared to be filthy going by what the parking lot and lobby looked like. I don't imagine the rooms being any better but never……
