“The property is extremely dated! We had lizard in our room. The outdoor view is beautiful, but beds are not as comfortable and there is no air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing! We only stayed for a night and that was okay. I wouldn’t have been able to stay here more than that. The grounds are beautiful, however the property most definitely needs an upgrade!”

“I had the perfect stay at Surfo house in tamarindo! I was very comfortable I even extended my stay. The areas are clean, the kitchen has everything you need, the store is conveniently located just downstairs, the beach is just 3 minutes walking distance, close to all restaurants, shops, even the bus station is right there. The staff were excellent! So friendly and welcoming. The cleaners were always keeping everything tidy. The lounging areas in the balcony were comfortable. Anything I needed,……

“Excellent stay. Lodge is a hidden gem at an affordable price for all Euro luxuries. Extremely clean, new bathrooms, Hilton style beds and pillows (Slept like a baby!) Will definitely stay there again. Steps from beach and in town perfect location, with free parking on-site. ”
