"Second time staying at the Ponchartrain, and it was excellent. Keep in mind this is an older hotel so you’re getting vintage-ish furniture, great view of the city, rooftop bar, classic New Orleans vibes, large bathrooms, and fairly quiet rooms given the solid structure of the building. Staff is friendly and very helpful. And there is a coffee shop attached in case you’re too cooked to walk anywhere else for breakfast."

"Staff was excellent. TV had no signal. Mentioned it to the front desk. Not 5 minutes later the lady maintaining the rooms showed up and she discovered some connections were not attached and cable box not plugged in. Excellent. Room was very clean and if you enjoy AC, you won't be disappointed. Only down side was no restaurant, plenty near by and construction going on the near building. Didn't drive, can't comment on parking. Good location. Under 2 miles to Bourbon St. About 4 miles to French Quarter. I'd have no problem booking there again."

"Loved the Hotel-small,boutique space with a great outdoor space, handy little bar in the lobby ..great (strong) cocktails! First drink on the house to welcome guests. Parking is on the street which was fine, no concerns about parking. They have a tiny lot if guests are worried about safety..but things were fine! There was a booking accident-our original king room was given to another guest, so they gave us 2 Queen rooms (no extra charge) and it worked out beautifully. Guests would likely need to Uber if planning on partying in the FQ,but Magazine Street was pretty close. Nice to stay outside FQ sometimes..quiet & chill!"
