Wyndham Garden Anchorage Airport

Wyndham Garden Anchorage Airport

8/10 Good
"Our one-night stay was fine and convenient for our flight. We booked the property partly because of the pool. Not until we checked in did we find out it is NOT heated. We visited in late August so it was cooler---our son did not enjoy the cold pool. That's just a heads up if the pool is a priority. We also planned to do laundry. Some reviews said the machines were out of order. I asked at check-in and the clerk said he had never heard they were out of order. I took two loads and found one washer and one dryer out of order. Just a heads up if laundry is a priority for your stay here. When our 3-adult party checked in, we were given a room with one queen....our reservation clearly stated 2 queens. We had to get back in line at the busy desk and wait for a new room assignment. Breakfast was fine. Spent some time in fitness room--it was fine. The whole stay was fine----just disappointing to get wrong room, to find out on site that the pool is not heated and to find broken laundry machines."
