“The only reason we actually stayed the whole night was that we were exhausted and had 3 children who needed to sleep, and it was 10 p.m. I think they put us in the "residencial" part of the hotel. My teen walked into the room and got scared because the TV was on, so I went in to check that no one was in there. The carpet was super dirty; I felt horrible having the baby walk on it and had her wear shoes until we got her in bed. The "non-smoking' room reeked of smoke; there was a leak in the……

“The faucet control in the bathroom tub was very difficult to manipulate and produce hot water. It was a struggle to get it adjusted for a hot water shower. In addition, the faucet dripped throughout my stay. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.”

“My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the furnishings appeared to be brand new. Unfortunately, the room smelled overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke. The odor was so strong that it gave me a headache, and I woke the next morning with an irritated, sore throat. I was traveling from Florida to Massachusetts with my dog and arrived late and exhausted, so I was simply too tired to complain and request another room. Otherwise, the room itself was perfectly adequate, but the cigarette smoke……

“We had a wonderful stay. Owner/innkeeper was a delight. The family did an amazing job with the restoration of the place. Bed and Breakfast and was outstanding. We will definitely book again when we are visiting that area. Glad we decided to book there instead of the hotels in Halifax or the nearby towns.”

The suite had everything we needed from the fully furnished kitchen, great appointed luxury bathroom, comfortable bed/bedlinens to relax in, large screen tvs, but most of all privacy to relax in. We enjoyed walking the property and viewing the exterior of the great home place the suite is attached to. We are excited to visit this wonderful home place again very soon”
