I came across it driving state roads back from Charleston. The gates close at 5, so go early. It is a 3 mile loop that has many water alleys, swamps, and a lot of moss covered live oaks. Animals are all around. There are alligators, Herons, egrets, little swallows, and frogs everywhere.
