“The hotel is situated in the middle of the Dual St, where I can go to either the west end (for seeing sunset) or east end (for seeing sunrise) of the street with almost the same distance. The buildings of the hotel have some history and in the colonial style, which I like very much. The garden provides an excellent place for breakfast and wine tasting.”

The location is perfect, walking distance everywhere and centrally on Duval, but still quiet that you don't hear the chaos of the street from the inside of the hotel. “My husband and I stayed at the Tropical Inn for 5 nights for his birthday. It's an adult only bed and breakfast on Duval St. in Key West. What a hidden gem! The location is perfect for walking to almost anything you want to do in Key West, and the staff was very helpful and nice. We actually stayed in 2 rooms, and our favorite was room #11, the Gecko Suite. It was large with a king bed and private hot tub. The other room we had was #10 which was smaller but still very cute with its own……

“The hotel is in an excellent location, and the parking lot across the street is very convenient. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with a lot of character, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The small swimming pool in the center courtyard is very lovely. However, the rooms feel a bit cramped, and the breakfast was rather too simple — there was not even any milk available.”

“Best part of this hotel was the location. My husband was fishing this trip and it was a 2 minute walk to the boat. Beds were comfortable and I slept well. The amenities that you pay a resort fee of $54 a night were meh. My husband did go to the pool one day but none of the other offerings were interesting. We had friends that stayed as well and they paid an additional $44 a day for parking. We got breakfast every morning and that was good but the best part was our server Nelson. Always a smile……
