"It is a historic and very old hotel. Our room did not meet standards for cleanliness and maintenance; the shower in the bathroom had leaks that kept us from sleeping, and the cold water tap was extremely stiff to open and close."

"Normally in the past my stay has been very good, but this time I'm disappointed. The hot water was not available for any extended period of time. Maintenence came to the room ran the water for 5 minutes before hot water became available. It was only 5 minutes after I was already running it for 5 minutes. We had to take quick showers because we never knew of the hot water was going to become cold. We had to plan our showers accordingly to make sure we didn't have to rush to be somewhere. We didn't want to change rooms because we thought we could deal with it, but it became harder to predict the hot water status. Also we didn't want a room near the elevators. They are very loud. I could hear them from my corner room. I hope this was a one off situation. The hotel is in a great location and is otherwise a good hotel to stay with."

"My family and I stayed here for my son’s Air Force graduation. The bathroom was horrible. There’s no ventilation in it so when anyone took a shower the entire bathroom was wet. The floor was nice subway tile but was slick and a serious fall hazard after showers due to there not being any exhaust vents. 5 of us stayed in the room. We had to keep asking for towels and wash cloths. They would only put four towels and two wash cloths in the bathroom. We ended up going and buying loofas at the dollar store. The faucet in the sink did not extend far enough into the sink bowl to properly wash your hands. Water would consistently get all over the counter and onto the floor. The water pressure coming out of the shower head was horrible. The limescale buildup probably made it worse. Breakfast was a joke. Not a good selection and most items were cold. Rooms were “cleaned up” daily. However, there was make up products on the window ledge that was there when we checked in. The pool was nice. But consistently out of towels. And the hot tub was not hot. But the beds were comfy."
