“The breakfast buffet was good. The room was clean. I felt safe. The bed was very comfortable. I did pay more for a jetted bathtub and well the jets did not work. ”

“The room and bathroom were clean. The room was spacious. Water pressure and temperature was great. Mattress was comfortable but the bed platform made a loud metal rumbling noise every time we got out of bed, not great for light sleepers. Check in took a long time because they had a new system that the night clerk hadn’t been trained on very well. She was very nice and apologetic about the wait, but also made a slightly snarky comment about our diesel truck running outside. The bathroom had very……

“The accommodation was well appointed. Excellent kitchen with necessary items, very clean and well featured bath, comfy bedroom and lovely living/dining space. And, the view is breathtaking. Edenton, NC is a gem, one that needs to be explored for its beauty and history.”

“The host hung out in the shed on the property and monitored the coming and going of guests during the stay. My friends felt like they were being watched; she even texting me when food was delivered. We also had a misunderstanding about the fact that I was renting it on behalf of family friends who are missionaries and were coming to my wedding from out of town. The host freaked out that I wasn’t staying there and made me come to the house so she could check my ID 30min before my rehearsal……

“Wonderful stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, lots of dishes, silverware, pots and pans (one thing I would suggest is a new can opener the one there does not work well). Beds were comfortable. The host was very accommodating (we locked the keys in the house and she responded to us right away). Would stay there again. Went to pocosin nature preserve to photograph the tundra swans. Drove to pea island for more photography. Excellent trip.”
