“Step out of franchise and discover a 1910 brick built structure that has all the charm and details of an Abbeville historical treasure. The clean room included a quilt covered bed that was comfortable, and the room included refrigerator and microwave. The best part was continental breakfast on a lovely veranda. The site is its original center of downtown, so don’t expect gardens…but I was sad to leave the over-stuffed wicker chair and resume my trip home.”

“This property was a horrendous place. Why would Expedia even allow this property on their system. I have been using this service for several years and I’m completely shocked they would even consider listing this place. When we arrived to the property with the gravel parking lot which is no big deal but there were people cooking on a fire on the ground. Not great but I understand trying to be economical. I stopped at the office and when I went inside the office was a complete wreck no one was……

“Everything was perfect for our stay. David was very helpful with recommendations on local places to dine and gladly showed us how to us the espresso machine, a must try. The place does not seem like it even sets in town. We felt right at home there. We will be visiting and staying here again in the future. A must stay location!”

“Check in was super easy, i was sent the keypad code by email a few days prior to check. Communication with the owner was great, response was very quick. Only downfall was that i had to vacuum when we got there and house #4 did not have a washer/dryer, stove, or full size refrigerator and it was more than my friends house #1 that had those amenities included. I would stay here again, only would makw sure I had a house with laundry. Very close to Clarks Hill Lake and a short drive to Augusta ”

“The property was great, just as described. The check-in process was easy. We had a few minor questions which the host/agent responded to quickly. The property was clean and included all of the needed amenities. The pool was clean and clear and large enough for everyone. Having a half bath near the pool was great. The hot tub was especially appreciated after a day on the lake. The kitchen was large and had most everything we needed for cooking. The outside covered porch was good for family……

“It was just like the listing. The only thing is I had to do yard work. The deck was covered in dry leaves and around the fire pit. I had to ask my mother to bring me a rack to clear out all the dry leaves in the fire pit area ”
