“Check-in was easy and as directed. It was great to have a parking space out back. I wish I had known that it was easier to get into the basement apartment from the back parking lot, rather than bringing everything in from the front door. It is a basement apartment with no outside light. Ceiling lights don’t work so you get the light from floor lamps. We were able to check in an hour early, but it was on a whim that I tried since I had emailed, messaged and tried calling the host multiple times……

“Excellent location for restaurants, shops, sightseeing. Lovely buzz around the area, with park & river close by to escape if necessary. Large lounge area to put your feet up between trips, and adequate glasses etc for drinks and nibbles between the treats at the bakeries and restaurants nearby.”

“I had asked to see photos of the property after I reserved it since there were no pictures of Suite 11 available, but unfortunately I never received them. The photos that were on the website also didn’t seem to accurately reflect the room. The suite was incredibly small, which ultimately wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. We were also initially given the wrong code to access our room, though this was resolved quickly with a phone call. The AC/heating unit……

“Did not advertise 6 flights of stairs to get to the room. No elevator, I'm 74 years old ! Provided necessary info just hours before my flight. No tissues, blanket, instructions on how to operate TV. Would not stay again,”

“This was a great location for visiting our daughter who attends Northeastern University. We could walk to campus or nearby restaurants. There is a subway stop just 5 minutes away. This also made it very easy to get there from the airport. ”

“The location is impossible to improve on. 3.5 blocks to TD Garden, the grocery store, and the metro. Several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Our only downer was missing out on our last day of sightseeing due to inclement weather. The house was totally updated with excellent heating and appliances but the second floor tub/shower is awkward getting into and out of, especially for elderly. We used it to avoid the additional stairs to the master suite, but some handholds would……

“The host was welcoming and answered all of my messages to her really fast. The house itself was beautiful, very clean, and close to everything.”

“Great stay! Location, location, location!! Perfect for everything we wanted to do and within walking distance to everything. Wonderful little restaurants on same street. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Boston. ”
