“We loved the cleanliness of the room and location of the Sea Vista Motel. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and access to the beach. The Sea Vista Motel had a friendly and helpful staff, which made our stay so much better.”

“Newly renovated, clean, and quiet and it’s a 2 minute walk to the beach. Excellent communication from booking to checkout. Tons of parking and so convenient to the heart of Surf City. Had everything we needed for a weekday getaway to the beach. Will be back for a longer stay next time.”

“Overall it was ok, but the staff was rude at the front desk when the room was rented for an additional night, I called the store and set it up for my girlfriend to come down and have the keys re keyed since we were staying in the same room then when she went down to do it the lady was very rude about doing it, after it had already been set up for this. Idk she did it but with an attitude”

“Checking in was super easy, the front desk person (male working evening on 7/3) was outstanding! I like the simple touches like the chips, soda, cookies. I only took a cookie but I think it’s great to offer that. Enjoyed the pool for a quick swim. Very relaxing. Breakfast was good and your staff there are pleasant, offered any help needed and the selection was perfect. The rooms were clean and a good size. My only negative is the water pressure. Overall the stay was great. Thank you.”

“It was nice to find a place that was larger than a typical hotel room to accommodate a family for a few days without having to commit to a full week rental. Units are fairly new with updated furnishings. It was clean and spacious. Convenient, short walk to the public beach access and this section of the beach was not very crowded. Close to the pier, shops and resturants. We had a first floor room and you could hear other guest walking fairly loud above us. If you are a light sleeper, I would……

“The people are so friendly and helpful. The room is small and the place appears older but the water pressure is out of this world. Great beach access and beach view from the room. Restaurant is fantastic. ”

“Roaches , stains and weird people. On the photos it seems like a descent place. But it is not. After driving for 14 hours we wanted a shower and bed , and it was one bad thing after another. The room had a weird moldy smell. Everything seems really outdated. We looked around for 10 mins and decided to go some place else. Never again”

“The king suite was very clean! The only thing I would say would be to leave 4 big towels instead of just 2. Not a huge deal though because the staff is super helpful and very friendly. Will give you anything when asked. They go above and beyond for you! Great job to the staff and whoever is running this hotel in Swansboro 👏👏 Honestly the best hotel stay we have ever had!”
