“This is a very old Inn with oak beams and uneven floors. The facilities were good however the room was unbearably hot. Even though we had 2 fans on we were just covered in sweat as soon as we came out of the shower. It was impossible to sleep.”

“Pleasant staff on arrival, clean room,no air con but was a fan in room,parking was free.”

“Had a lovely stay the staff are so nice and helpful. Beds are very comfortable and the food is great. Was so nice being somewhere that caters for gluten free with no problems. This is our second stay here and we will definitely be back.”

“They don’t serve breakfast anymore, which was a huge let-down. Also, no A/C or fans during the heat-wave was insane.”

“Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.”

“Nice hotel but the rooms in the annex need some maintenance. Toilet holders were falling off, lights were flickering and the flush didn’t work properly. The rooms were also far too hotel with the windows not being able to be opened properly.”

“Just an overnight stay when travelling. Everything was very good including the evening meal. Would stay there again”
