“I loved everything except there was no microwave so don’t bring food back from a restaurant. The mini fridge wasn’t very cold but that was probably isolated. Aside from that it was perfect.”

“Pros: 1) room is pretty comfortable and clean. 2) Nice balcony and good river view. Cons: 1) Kind of noisy since it’s on the main street. 2) Be an early bird otherwise there will be a long line waiting for breakfast in the narrow room.”

“As a historic property there are some limitations on space and amenities. Nevertheless, the property is located in the heart of Gatlinburg and quite convenient. What really makes it special is its warm and welcoming staff. This includes those who prepare an enjoyable breakfast buffet each morning.”

“Loved the location, room was very clean and big. Parking was good, able to park right in front of our room, we were on bottom floor which was great for us. Staff was informative, told us not to leave food in car because of bears and we had friends staying somewhere else that they truck got attacked by bear. So good advice for us. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Do not EVER STAY at Holiday Inn Express in Gatlinburg. One of our worst experiences ever at any hotel we’ve ever been to. So many things I can’t even list them all but most importantly was the fact we were charged over three times the amount of what our actual rate was for our stay and they charged our card that amount three times. We still haven’t been refunded days later. We’ve been told multiple times we will be contacted by the owner, which has not happened days later. Probably have tried……

“We stayed one night in the honeymoon cottage. A last minute get away with my husband. It was so cute. The prefect little cottage. It was very clean and overlooks the river. We will def stay here again.”
