"Our stay was pleasant for my first trip to Key West, but if I return in the future I will not choose to stay here again. The staff was entirely lovely, accommodating, and hard working. Shuttle service from downtown did leave 10 minutes early (we watched them drive away - it wasn’t full), leaving us stranded for 70 minutes or on the hook for uber. Hotel bar was upbeat and fun, a good place to wait for shuttle departure. Pool was packed with kids/families every time I saw it (we didn’t use it) or heard it. For the high room price, this was very much a normal, clean, comfortable hotel room. Given the aging nature of the building’s exterior (island life is hard on structures, so I get it), I would have needed the room to be more luxurious to offset the price. This is not the fault of the hotel, but I stayed here because of beach proximity and I now know Key West is not actually a beach town (beach is small, narrow, close to street, very natural/not groomed, minimal walkable food options, rentable beach chairs are expensive and poor quality…not a place catering to the beach experience) Lesson learned. I’ll stay closer to the actual attractions of the island in Old Town if I return to KW."

"Great location to walk around to great shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed time by the pool and enjoyed the variety of pool options! The beach was fantastic and the cafe was a great spot for breakfast. Would definitely return!! "

"Check-in wasn’t the best. The guy at the desk said they would text when the room was ready. I never got a text, ended up going back to a different employee and apparently my room had been ready. Elevators out of order, of course, so had to drag bags up 3 flights of stairs. No daily housekeeping. No microwave or safe in room. The jets on the hot tub were broken. The swimming area/ beach was not swimmable. The water smelled like sewage. "

"Clean quirky rooms. Comfy beds. Restaurant, bar, pool. Lots of activities. Just ok beach. We rented a golf cart & cruised around town. And a great time was had by all!"

"We booked an ocean front room through Expedia. The online pictures versus the actual condition of the room and property were misleading. The room we had (#208) was very dated, water damage in the ceiling, crown molding separated ftom ceiling, base mokding rotten and separated from wall. The overall room condition was clean and housekeeping was very attentive. The general consensus from other guests was they need to update the rooms to reflect the steep prices. Overall the location and stay was nice but doubtful we would stay here again. There are other places with better amenities and cheaper rates. If you plan to use the pool or beach chairs youre going to have to beat the peipke that put towels down at 7 am and take spots all day and not use."

"We stayed here for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and the pool area was amazing. The ocean views were incredible and made the stay even more special. Even though it was a short visit, we really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back again!"
