“Very rural but has amenities . Cabin is cozy and quaint . Need to bring linens but definitely not a deal breaker . Had a nice stay . Would recommend .”

“I stayed here for one night and loved how open the property is. It’s conveniently close to Hocking Hills State Park and quite scenic. I wish I had the time to hike on the ridges!”

“When we pulled up to the house, our first impressions could have been a little better. The yard wasn't super well kept and the outside of the cabin seemed a little rough. However, it was beautiful on the inside and ended up being quite a nice place to stay. It was also close by to several prime hiking spots, which was nice. It's a small house, but perfect for a couple getaway. Definitely had a nice cozy feel to it.”

“The hot tub was dirty but the kids used it anyway. I think that is because of the soft cover. I expected toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and there was some but glad I brought extra. I did have to go purchase silverware at the dollar store which I left there because there were 5 each spoons and forks and one butter knife. The sofa bed is no longer there so if we would have had 10 people as expected, one would have had to sleep on the couch. The only game was poker, no board games as...

“It is exactly as advertised! Remote, beautiful cabin surrounded by woods. Everything was perfect & we will definitely go again!!!”

“This place was built to accommodate dogs if you bring them and gives them space that's fenced against the house. It's magical for humans. Excellent accommodations. Easy.”

“Hot tub was close and worked well. Cabin was clean and very comfortable for two. Close to Old Mans Cave, Cedar Falls etc. Great get away a few days!”

“We were disappointed in the hot tub and did not use it. The water was cloudy. I didn't bother contacting the host about it because we wouldn't have felt comfortable using it after that. The water inside the cabin smelled, I do realize it was well water. The access to the goats was not good, there was what we thought was another rental behind us and we didn't want to disturb them. Sweet cat and kitten came to visit. The cottage was cute but needed some maintenance.”

“Great location in reference to thr state park hiking and sites. Very quiet and tranquil. Easy access even with a larger travel trailer. If you have a larger rig id suggest sites 2, 3 or 4 instead of 1 however site 1 would still accommodate. Other than an email, we had no contact with the staff. This was not an issue since everything was just perfect.”

“It was the perfect cabin for us. Everything was there that the owner said. Hot tub was perfect. Perfect spot for all the caves and waterfalls. Only a couple miles away. Definitely stay there again. ”

“We had a lovely three-night stay in this secluded cabin, which was situated 15-minutes away from Hocking Hills Park and its attractions. The property was quiet with a comfortable bed, places to relax inside and out, including the adjacent fire pit. Would love to come back for another weekend getaway.”
