“We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table……

“The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back.”

“Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Die Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.In der schönen Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht.Fahrtzeit nach Pisa 1 Stunde 45 Minuten und Florenz 1 Stunde 25 Minuten. Nachts die Serpentinen hoch ist ein kleines Abenteuer, da allerhand Wild unterwegs ist.”

“Ein wahres Kleinod in den Hügeln der Toskana. Das reizend eingerichte Haus ist nicht weniger hübsch. Nah genug an Lucca und anderen Städten um schöne Ausflüge zu unternehmen, aber auch weit genug weg um die Abgeschiedenheit zu genießen.”

“Marco’s villa is beyond beautiful! Seeing it in person, it was absolutely stunning. The Mountain Views, the surrounding olive groves, the goats we could hear in the distance, the crow of the rooster; the flowers, lemon trees, and the rosemary that seemed to grow everywhere! There are truly no words to describe how beautiful this place is. The village of Buti is charming and totally off the beaten path. I am so glad we picked Marco’s place to stay at. “Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen an diesem wundervollen Platz. Es gibt alles, was man braucht, um selbst zu kochen, ebenso fußläufig fantastische Restaurants und einen regionalen Lebensmittelladen. Matraia ist ein beschaulicher Ort und gleichzeitig gut für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Das Haus und der Garten sind liebevoll gestaltet und sehr großzügig. Isabella ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, zugewandt und freundlich mit vielen Tipps für Ausflüge. Wir kommen wieder!!! Danke Isabella dass du diesen……

“Nous avons passés 2 semaines dans la casa Mimi afin de visiter la Toscane et ce reposer. Je dirais que l'annonce correspond exactement à la réalité. L'accueil était parfait, les gens très sympathique. Nous avons profité de cette maison avec un soleil magnifique, c'est un endroit central pour visiter la Toscane. Nous remercions Mimicha pour son accueil et son aide durant notre séjour, nous remercions également ses parents qui vive a côté pour leur gentillesse. Je recommande vivement cette……
