"The whole experience was wonderful. Be prepared for the train coming through in the middle of the night. Wish we had our own A/C unit for the room too. Staff were wonderful. "

"Through no fault of their own, Holiday Inn Express at Horse Cave was unable to host us. When we arrived to check in, the clerk regretfully informed us that power had just been restored after a multi-day regional blackout due to storms. Consequently, they were in no shape to take guests that night. They had tried to reach us when the power went out but Hotels.com had not provided our contact number.... Despite the fact that I had included it when I booked the room on the hotels.com site. For what it's worth the property looked clean and well taken care of and the staff were professional and friendly. We were able to book rooms at another hotel down the road, and we eventually received a refund from this website. I have no criticism of the property, and only wish Hotels.com had provided a means of getting in touch with us."
