"Perfect house for a weekend getaway. Peaceful, beautiful property. We enjoyed sitting outside and seeing the horse and buggies go by and the farmers working in the fields next door. The house had everything we needed to make for a perfect stay. This was our 2nd time staying here and we look forward to coming back again."

"This was my first VRBO rental and I was not disappointed. The guest cottage was beautiful and there was music playing and fresh cut flowers to add to the welcome ambience. Everything was perfect except for perhaps some difficulty navigating the TV electronics that we were not interested in watching anyway. It was very pet friendly without additional charges. "This place was amazing! It has such a sense of calm and peace and was perfect for our family get-together. The bedrooms were spacious. We appreciated the snacks and whoopie pies provided. Derrick responded quickly to our questions about some light switches. It was convenient to our sightseeing adventures in the Lancaster area. "Beautiful quaint property with many amenities and very close to downtown Lancaster and Tanger outlets while maintaining the authentic Amish charm. The hosts were super friendly. The family dog, Ellie, was super sweet and greeted us every day while playing outside. There is a lot to do that don't require screens, so it provided a nice break from the technology dominated lives we all live these days. Everything was ad advertised. "This is a beautiful home with beautiful views in a quiet area of Strasburg. We loved the sun room and porch views. We enjoyed watching the many birds in the area. One thing that might need to be considered before booking is that there are very steep stairs in the home and an unlevel pathway to the front door. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the right home for you."
