"Wonderful stay - perfect for our multi-generational "girl's trip." The staff was responsive and friendly, parking was easy and convenient, neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of restaurants. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm visiting Portland. "

"This is a fun place to stay, and definitely the cleanest and coolest at the price. You have to share a bathroom and you can clearly hear the band in the bar, so if you plan to take a bath and go to bed early, look elsewhere. Bonus for being next to Bernstein Bagel's for an easy morning treat."

"I liked the friendly staff, they met me at the curb and always held the door. The lobby staff were friendly, the room was clean and inviting. My favorite things were the free coffee (that’s so rare these days!!) and spending time in the library. Stunning!!"
"This is the nearest lodging with included parking we could find for visiting our father at OHSU Hospital. It is clean and the beds are comfortable! All we needed for much needed restful nights! "
"A close walk to dining and shopping, especially Powell’s. Staff are pleasant and helpful, special shoutout to Kourtney for her help. Beds are comfy. Family friendly. No internet unless you sign up for the Hilton app. "
"The location is definitely convenient, close to shops and restaurants. Safety is a concern. The outdoor parking lot is right next to the hotel, not gated. Cars were double parked and its a bit chaotic. I heard screaming during the weekend nights. Hotel rooms and staffs are nice but I wouldn’t recommend it for families"
A garden view hideaway in the Irvington neighborhood
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay in the garden apartment at Irvington House. It is very clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the beautiful backyard several times by having dinner or a glass of wine on the patio. If you get a chance to say hi to Mark (the owner), please do! Not only is he extremely nice and fun to chat with, he is very knowledgeable about Portland and the Irvington neighborhood. Let's just say that our list of "must visit" restaurants is longer now than when we arrived! Although there are many, many amenities within walking distance, we were thrilled to discover the bus stop on the corner of the block. We were able to get to just about anywhere in the city using this bus or combo of busses/light rail. And don't miss the cutest coffee shop at the end of the block to the north. Choice of Safeway or Whole Foods within walking distance (for us). The apartment itself is comfortable, clean, and has all the necessities. We will definitely stay with Mark again! "
"Great place to stay while in Portland! Location is great close to everything you want to see downtown. Service is always warm and welcoming! The food is excellent! The rooms are lovely. The parking situation is a drawback. The fee is to high and it’s hectic getting your car. "
"Love the Hey Love had great food, convenient and fun atmosphere.
It was nice to check in with a great staff person and the walk right into a nice restaurant. "
"This was a very nice hostel and I felt very safe. I stayed in 4 person bunk room with all women and it was very nice! The doors can only be opened with a keycard for that room. The sheets and bed were very clean and comfortable. I slept in the bottom bunk that had a little curtain which made me feel like I had my own little space. The bathroom was down the hall and was very clean. "
