The hotel is nicely updated, clean and bright. Staff were helpful and restaurant was pretty good. Tranportation to/from the airport vía MAX was super easy and cheap. The hotel is just across the street from the Convention Center stop. The neighborhood has some unhoused people loitering across the street at the Denny’s and another building but they never bothered us and we felt pretty safe walking around, even at night. There are several fast food restaurants nearby, but not a lot of nice restaurants. The Metropolitan Tavern in the hotel is pretty good and we had a nice meal a few blocks away.
