“The expansive view of the lake was divine. We saw many red winged blackbirds as well as wood ducks and mallards. On night there was a dramatic electrical storm that came over the mountain and across the water, but we could watch it while feeling cozy and safe in the comfy chairs. The kitchen had all that we needed. The location was a perfect balance of rural and near town. Caught a movie at the Millerton movie house which was enlightening. An excellent escape cottage! Showers were quickly hot.……

We had to leave very early the next morning to beat a snowstorm and the very long driveway was already sanded and we felt very safe. Tents are great with comfy beds (I slept great), mini fridges and Roku TV. And they stand up well to heavy rain (we had a downpour overnight) with no leaks. Warm shower with towels, 2 bathrooms w sinks. Campsites have fire pits with firewood and Appalachian chairs. And they have BBQs too. The Zen Den is well stocked with food. Location is excellent. Close to town……
