"We had another great stay at the Back Pond Cottage! We love its in-town location - less than a five-minute walk to restaurants, coffee shops and the marina. We stayed with another family - a total of five kids - so the quick walk to the marina made it easy to get out on our boat. Bonus - the marina offers free 3-hour public boat parking. And we enjoyed lots of great hiking at the GL Conference Center nearby. The kids especially loved the trek up to the top of Judson Tower for a birds-eye-view of the lake (ask to borrow the tower key from the front desk at the Kraft Center!). "

"Cute, comfy cottage. Beds were comfortable, which for me, means soft. Firm beds hurt me, so I was happy. We had a nice relaxing time, and were able to make meals in the kitchen. Most of what you need for simple meals is available. We brought food in and grilled on the BBQ, though we did not find the grill brush until we were leaving (someone had left it on the back deck in an out of the way location). We did not end up using the kayaks, unfortunately. There were no life jackets that we could find, and we weren't willing to take the risk of boating without them.It was easy to contact the owner through VRBO, but she also provided contact info.Very nice neighborhood along a river. We saw lots of deer, and turtles crossing the roads. Lots of birds, too. We enjoyed birding at the local wildlife areas. Princeton has a wonderful bakery where we got delicious coffee and treats. Didn't make it to the antique stores but they do have two. I liked this cute little town. I prefer smaller towns and places that are rural or wild areas, so this was very nice.Only issue with the cottage was that the water in the bathroom sink would not get warm. Had to wash my face in the kitchen. I guess I'll survive, LOL! Notified the owner so they can do whatever needs to be done about it. There is a tankless hot water heater, which is nice, because it means there will be plenty of hot water if you have a number of people staying there. "

"We loved this location, close to town, nice fishing off the dock and all the amenities you need. We have 3 families, and each took a house/apt. It was great to have space with plenty of bathrooms, beds, tvs, kitchen. "
