“The Crystal Bay Hotel is a hotel that was built in 1915 and known as the Sunset Hotel. It was saved from being torn down and restored as a piece of History. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and once hosted celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Babe Ruth, Robert Kennedy, Glen Miller, Al Capone, and many others. The fourth floor was removed during the restoration, so it is now a three story structure. It overlooks Sunset Park and Boca Ciega Bay at the Treasure Island……

“My family of four just stayed at Barefoot for a week during our first visit to the area. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The staff that cleans the common areas were very hardworking. We got a 2-bedroom with kitchenette and balcony for a reasonable price, and it made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We came without a car and were able to walk to restaurants, shops, 7-11, and ordered groceries a few times. Overall excellent stay. Only wish the hot tub and pool were open past 9 pm……

“The room we got is facing the street. Very NOISY! Room stinks! The detergent hasn’t been washed up. I was choking and coughing at night! The fire alarms suddenly started to beep every 20-30 seconds. Based on my experience, the battery was gone. And when I call the front dest, they sent a stuff member to my room and just removed the fire alarm! Is that proper?”
