“We checked into hotel after dark. Front desk staff were very helpful and polite. We had a 1st fl king suite. Only one window in room and a lot of vacant wall space. The shower floor had long hair lying in back corner, and bathroom floor was not clean. Very minimal nightstands which had no drawers. The real treat was after we laid down to sleep. I began to feel a strong vibration and it sounded like a tornado was coming through our window--definitely scary, but the noise eventually went……

“Staff at check in was helpful. View of sunrise over Blue Ridge Mtns. was outstanding, and would have been more enjoyable if windows had been clean. Room was a bit shabby: mattress seemed worn down, bottom sheet was badly pilled, floor lamp stand tilted, lamp on desk didn't work, lights over beds flickered constantly. There was no place to hang a towel by the sink. Door latch did not work (but the lock did). Coffee at breakfast was tasteless and cereal was stale. At least the room was quiet and……

“Breakfast was fair, waffles were a nice touch otherwise nothing special.”

“The property was recently refurbished and done well. My room was clean though it could have been scrubbed a bit better in the bathroom. The AC unit worked but I believe the unit should have been replaced. All in all a good stay.”

“The room was decently clean but the carpeting seemed to need some deep cleaning. We had an option not to be disturbed in the 3 days we were there and the staff honored our request. There is ample parking in front of our room which made it easier to unload our luggages. The location is walking distance from the historic Waynesboro museums and restaurants. Overall, We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place when visiting Waynesboro.”

“Frederick House is a great place to stay when visiting Staunton. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The accommodations and amenities are first-rate, and the B & B is centrally located to the city’s major points of interest and restaurants. My breakfast choice was exceptional—delicious fresh fruit , apple raisin quiche, and pumpkin/raisin sweet bread. The coffee was full-bodied and flavorful. Free parking is conveniently located on site. I highly recommend staying at the Frederick House.”
