"Positives: Comfortable and clean accommodations. Conveniently located near Poverty Point. Opportunities for improvement: Pre payment with Expedia did not show in hotel's records. Reservation paperwork and clerk said breakfast was included. This was not the case. TV screen very tiny and volume locked at very low level. And would be helpful to only display those channels subscribed to."

"This lodge is a hidden gem in the beauty of the Louisiana's countryside. The room was large enough that there was plenty of room to walk between the beds and the walls. For dinner we walked to the recently opened restaurant and were happy we did. My husband and I had the grilled shrimp. It was amazing. As golfers we wished that we would have had time to play 18 holes."

"Absolutely beautiful and wonderful home to stay in. You actually feel as if you are in your own home!! Mrs. Katherine immediately responded to any questions that I had. The lake and the dock were very peaceful. My family and I loved our stay and would absolutely go back for another visit. I would definitely recommend staying here!!"

"We had ten extended family members stay here for the rodeo. It’s a charming home with ample space for us to spread out. There is an additional room in the back of the house that we thought at first was a screened in porch but discovered it was air conditioned bonus room with outdoor seating and toys for the kids. "
