“Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. “This cabin is nestled high in the Jemez Mountains in a small neighborhood surrounded by national forest. The trails around the cabin are excellent whether you step out of the cabin for a hike or drive to one of the many trailheads along Highway 4. The area around the cabin was very quiet during my wife and I's weeklong stay. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation and the cabin was quite comfortable for sleeping and lounging after a long day of hiking. I would recommend it for people...
