“One night stay with family. Rooms were very clean and quiet even though they are doing construction. Called for help with tv and staff came right up and fixed it. Overall very pleasant and economically priced would stay again”

“I chose Golden Inn because of all the excellent reviews and they were accurate. Nothing fancy, just a very clean, well maintained, old school motor inn. A very quiet and peaceful night. Super friendly and helpful owner. I believe the owner is the staff.”

“Solo trip to visit my son at Miami University. Pleasant, cozy, had everything I needed - Easy to regulate the heat, open some windows to let a breeze in, etc. Downstairs visitors came and went and while I heard some of their movements or talking, none was bothersome at all. Quiet in the evenings and mornings. Beautiful setting on a hillside farm with goats in a pen that you can visit. The main house is also on the property and while friendly, the people coming and going kept to themselves. So……

“Immaculate, adorable, 1-room basement walkout apartment. Loved the location. On a quaint farm with a herd of goats right outside. Fall asleep to the sounds of the babbling brook. Loved it!”

“Absolutely fantastic place with everything you could need for your stay. Host was super friendly and helpful. The place is decorated very thoughtfully and was ideal for the two us and our pets. We only stayed a night while passing through on our way home to Wisconsin from Virginia. However would visit again if the opportunity presents itself.”

“The house itself was incredible. Large rooms and big property. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was the request to get in one to two hours early. The property manager said that we could but that they charged by the hour to get in early. In all my experience with using VRBO I’ve never heard of a “policy” like that. I could understand it if it was at a popular destination and/or if it was on a Saturday, but this was on a Tuesday. Other than that it was great. My……

“The home met our needs and was pet friendly. The photos on the listing are misleading as the property is much more worn inside. The coffee table had deep gouges, the leather stools for the dining room are well worn and missing “leather”, the sitting chair in living room had frayed and stained fabric. The stove also had loose facing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean but living area/kitchen were dusty. With that said, it met our needs at the last minute trip for family emergency. ”
