“We could not find location in dark and rain. Only given GPS info and no name of hotel or property. Once we arrived guard at guardhouse could not assist as we could not affirm name. When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. ”

“Our family from four different states was looking for a place welcoming to adults and children (over 10 years old). This property was perfect for us. The house was clean but also feels lived-in, which helped us be more comfortable using all of the rooms and the spacious kitchen. There were nooks and crannies for privacy. The kids enjoyed the yard, the adults enjoyed walking the grounds. We even had a star gazing night and got to see Comet Lemmon! ”

“Hot tub not working, the water was warm. The room furniture was in poor condition/damaged(I have pictures). My husband and I were very disappointed. We expected better considering the name Doubletree. The room had a very uncomfortable smell coming from the AC unit which became stronger when you turned it to a warm setting. My husband wanted to ask for another room, however I didn't want to go through the hassle considering we were only staying 2 nights and planned to be out most of the day. Very……

“unfortunatly, our experience was disappointing. when we pulled back the blanket on the bed, we noticed a personal item left behind from previous guests, which made it clear that the bedding had not beed properly changed on the room. this was quite uncomfortable and concerning for us. in additioon, the breackfast did not seem fresh and overall quality was below our expectation.”
