"Webb's Resort is a quaint accommodation. It's about 5 minutes away from the Chataqua Institute. It was perfect for our overnight stay after attending the Laufey concert at the Chataqua Institute. We had the lakeside view which was literally across the street from the lake. I'd definitely stay again."

"Perfect location close to lake with wonderful views from shady decks upstairs and down. Excellent communication with host and easy check-in. Very comfortable beds and couches with well stocked, high quality kitchen equipment. Lots of things to do in the area but we were completely happy to enjoy the beach and house. The night sky view of stars was amazing."

"This house is pretty great for a family get together.Twelve of us stayed in this house in late July, and we enjoyed it quite a bit. The indoor pool is wonderful. The water was comfortable, and the deep end is deep enough for diving. The slide was a lot of fun too.The dining room has plenty of room for eating together, and the living room has plenty of room for sitting and visiting. The TV seems very good, although we hardly turned it on. The kitchen is laid out well, and has all the appliances you need to make reasonable meals.The driveway is large, and it is pretty fun to walk around the pond in front and watch the frogs leap into the water from all their little hiding places. The yard is well kept, and the grand kids had fun running around and throwing a ball with their dad. We used the fire pit a couple times, and that did not disappoint either.The house can get a little warm, since it doesn't have air conditioning throughout. There were two bedrooms with window units when we were there.So, overall, the stay here was a lot of fun. It is a little out in the countryside, which makes it quiet and private, but still only about 30 minutes from Erie and all the fun things that can be done there."

"Deb's home is beautiful. Lots of space for the family to spread out. We loved the backyard and the fire-pit. There were lots of board games and puzzles too. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed"

"The property is aged but comfortable. Area has a restaurant close by. the air conditioner was not on when we went in the room so it was hot in the room and took a good while to cool down. "

"Room # 5 was a nice size for my family of 4. It was furnished with 2 full beds and comfortable couch that can be viewed online. The fridge was full sized, and the kitchenette was nicely equipped. We ate out most of the weekend, but it was nice to have a light breakfast with coffee, or a bedtime snack. Once we figured out the shower, the hot water & pressure was wonderful after a long day of driving. I would consider Colonial Motel for another stay when we visit Erie in the future. "

"Fabulous cottage for both adults and children. It is clean and stocked well with everything you need. Plenty of fans for the hotter days and lots of space to play outside in the yard or in the water. There is a little roadside fruit stand/market near to restock on local produce, eggs, and more. Anything you could want to do is either a short drive or boat ride. We were very impressed and will definitely be back."

"When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. It was so quiet and cool in the evenings that I slept very soundly, and the location is totally pastoral and scenic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "

"Sunset Cabin in Westfield NY has become an annual retreat for we three friends from central Pennsylvania. Not only is the cabin well appointed, roomy, clean, and comfortable, but the natural setting - under the trees and near the lake – creates a relaxing atmosphere for beachcombing or just sitting near the shore with a drink of your choice. The beach glass was harder to come by this year, but the amazing sunsets of every color made up for that in spades! We had a wonderful escape from that central PA heatwave, as well. Another great trip in the books. "
