"We stayed in the cottages at Tenaya while visiting Yosemite. It was an hour back-and-forth between the valley and the hotel each day, but we listened to an audio tour and a lot of the drive had pretty views so it wasn’t too bad. With there being such a drive we did have to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in the park, and if going back, I would prefer to stay at Yosemite Valley Lodge, but they were unavailable for our dates. "Size was perfect for us but the unit was overpriced. Faucet in kitchen was loud and the toilet rumbled and shook the floor when flushed. Could hear the guests walking upstairs. "I book the lodge for the night before my wedding. The host, Jimmy and Michael were very responsive and provided all the details for a smooth check-in. The morning of, we used the space to get ready. It was very spacious and accommodated our wedding party. The area around the lodge was beautiful for photo ops and we had our first look, right outside surrounded by trees. I would recommend staying at the lodge if you are planning to get married in Yosemite. "
