This cottage is very close to Charleston Lake Provincial Park, and we made great use of the park pass that was included with our stay. “It was a delight to walk into the cottage and see the lake through the wall of windows. My daughter and I spent as much time as we could outside- sipping morning coffee in the Muskoka chairs on the new dock, reading in the shade of the black willows and enjoying the quiet of the lake. My son and his family came up for the afternoon and the kids loved the kayaks and the dinner on the outdoor deck. The A/C was a bonus as the heatwave continued throughout our stay. “Such a lovely location for our family getaway!! Direct lake access and the water of Loughborough Lake was so clean and refreshing. We also loved hearing the Loons calling out on the lake.Nice big dock to hang out on as well as a very spacious upper deck with lots of chairs and a comfy outdoor couch. Shade tent on upper deck was essential for the late afternoon sun.Inside of cottage was cute: clean, bright and had a nice feel. BBQ on the deck and stove/microwave inside, so lots of options for……
