“This was my husband's and my first time in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Hollis was a nice hotel, especially our room; it was quite large for two people, so we enjoyed the extra space. We ordered room service while staying, and the food was quite good, so check out The Cannery. The only fault of the hotel was that the fitness room/gym was not that impressive; it only had a few cardio machines and free weights. We have been to hotels that have had so much more. Overall, nice hotel.”

“Amazing hotel! The hotel was very clean, and the room was a great size. I was a little concerned about staying in a two queen-bed room with our two kids, but we had plenty of space and never felt cramped. The kids absolutely loved the pool! My only complaint was regarding parking. At check-in, we were told that parking would be complimentary. We didn't ask for this, but it was offered to us by the front desk associate if we signed up for their Marriott Bonvoy program. At checkout, we found out……

“Great location. Two bedrooms with queen beds and the mattresses were firm (yay). Extra points for having hooks in the bathroom so you actually have a place to hang your clothes, towels, etc. Note that there is no parking onsite, but the Metro public parking around the corner was very convenient.”
