"Kellagh Farm is a little off the beaten track as it is still a working farm, but perfectly placed for a stay whilst visiting Hadrian’s Wall and in an idyllic location. There is plenty of parking and amenities at the b&b are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need and there are also shared areas to have brew and chat next to a fire. A really great property at a fantastic price."

"We were given a lovely little lodge in courtyard with downstairs Tv area & bathroom and a mezzanine upper where the comfiest of beds were situated. The bathroom was beautiful, massive shower cubicle! The hosts were brilliant, even down to being shown which parts of the building were eldest & a centuries old stone winding staircase that was used by soldiers in the days of fighting over the English Scottish border. "I was taken to the room, which was somewhat cramped with ever-so-slightly grubby duvets and extremely thin pillows. All acceptable problems I was prepared to deal with (as was the remote for the oddly-placed tele being dead, but that's me being picky) and I was even able to accept the fact that the shower had two settings - literally scalding (the red of my hand taking hours to go down) or too cold to use.
